DGNB certificate // Gold for the savings bank

The conversion and modernization of Dieburg savings bank in Gross-Umstadt to meet the “passivhaus” standard received the DGNB certificate in Gold. The planning team of schmidtploecker architekten and Werner Sobek Frankfurt created a solution that was forward-looking in design and technical terms, which not only convinced the DGNB but also delighted owners, users and visitors. For Gross-Umstadt the successful conversion has both enhanced the appearance of downtown and its urban quality.
