In case we do acquire, process and use person-related data, we shall only do this to fulfil the specific explicit purpose stated. Here, we are careful to operate only within the scope of the valid legal stipulations, otherwise only with your explicit approval.  According to the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right, at any time to obtain, free of charge, information regarding your stored data, as well as, if applicable, the right to rectification, blocking or deletion of this data. According to Art. 21 GDPR, in the cases described there, you can raise an objection against the processing of your data. Please contact us via mail[at]schmidtploecker.de or send us your request by post. The nature and type of data acquisition differs depending on whether you are just using our Internet presentation for information or if you wish to employ the services we provide.

data security

We also employ technical and organizational security measures to make sure that personal data which we have collected or received is protected – in particular against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or against the attacks of unauthorized persons. Our security measures are constantly improved in accordance with the technical development.

For identification when supplying data, the input of a user-defined password or another suitable authentication can be requested. Via HTTPS, the data are protected against third party access, to the extent that the user employs our recommended method of data transfer.

data security

Should use wish to employ the services we provide, it is probably necessary that you provide us with further data. The data involved are those personal details necessary for the task in hand. You can provide us with further data if you wish, however this is optional and is marked by us as such.

The acquisition and use of your data is carried out to fulfil the tasks which you have ordered from us. A transfer of data to third parties only occurs when this is legally permitted or if we receive your specific permission.

applications and application procedures

The controller responsible for processing gathers and processes the personal data of applicants for the purpose of carrying out the application procedure.  The processing can also take place electronically. This is in particular the case if the applicant transmits the corresponding application documents to the controller for processing electronically, e.g. via E-mail, or uses a web form on an internet site.

If the responsible controller for the application makes an employment contract with the applicant, the transmitted data are stored for the purpose of concluding an employment relationship - taking into consideration the statutory regulations. If the controller does not make a contract with the applicant, the application documents are automatically deleted two months after the rejection decision, insofar as the deleting does not conflict with the legitimate interests of the controller. Such a legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, the burden of proof in proceedings according to the German General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

We store your personal data only as long as necessary to serve the purpose we obtained it for, as long as there are no legal provisions for storage periods, or limitation periods for possible legal claims which prevent the erasure of the data (in this case the processing of the data is limited according to Art. 18 GDPR).

data storage periods

We wish to draw your attention to the fact that you can revoke your permission for us to use your data at any time for use in future. To the extent that there are legal requirements governing data acquisition, (e.g. architects list), there is no right of revocation.

According to Art. 21 GDPR, you can raise objections to the processing of your data. Please contact mail[at]schmidtploecker.de or send us your demand by post. You have the right of objection with the responsible governing authority for data protection:

internet use

As a basic rule, it is not necessary that you provide personal information for a merely informative use of our website.  In this case, we only acquire the data which your browser automatically transmits, such as:

  • date and time of you calling on one of our internet pages
  • your browser type
  • the browser settings
  • the operating system used
  • the page you last visited
  • the transmitted data volume and the access status (file transmitted, file not found etc.) as well as
  • your IP-address.

The data which we acquire and use during an informative visit are always in a non-personal form. We only acquire this data to allow you to use the internet site at all, for statistical purposes (see below) and to improve our internet presentation. We only store the IP-address for the duration of your visit, a personalized evaluation does not take place. This data is not brought together with other data sources. After the decision by the European Court of Justice from 19.10.2016 (Az.: C 582/14) this is permitted – also with regard to the Telemedia Act. No data is passed on to third parties.

This Website uses Matomo’s open source web analytic. Matomo uses cookies, i.e., text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of how you use the Website. In addition, the information created by the cookie about how this Website is used is stored on our server. Prior to the information being stored the IP address is rendered anonymous.

The information created by the cookie about how this Website is used is not passed on to third parties. facebook

On this website, the controller has integrated components of the enterprise Facebook. Facebook is a social network.

A social network is a place for social meetings on the Internet, an online community, which usually allows users to communicate with each other and interact in a virtual space. A social network may serve as a platform for the exchange of opinions and experiences, or enable the Internet community to provide personal or business-related information. Facebook allows social network users to include the creation of private profiles, upload photos, and network through friend requests.

The operating company of Facebook is Facebook, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, United States. If a person lives outside of the United States or Canada, the controller is the Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this Internet website, which is operated by the controller and into which a Facebook component (Facebook plug-ins) was integrated, the web browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted to download display of the corresponding Facebook component from Facebook through the Facebook component. An overview of all the Facebook Plug-ins may be accessed under https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. During the course of this technical procedure, Facebook is made aware of what specific sub-site of our website was visited by the data subject.

If the data subject is logged in at the same time on Facebook, Facebook detects with every call-up to our website by the data subject—and for the entire duration of their stay on our Internet site—which specific sub-site of our Internet page was visited by the data subject. This information is collected through the Facebook component and associated with the respective Facebook account of the data subject. If the data subject clicks on one of the Facebook buttons integrated into our website, e.g. the "Like" button, or if the data subject submits a comment, then Facebook matches this information with the personal Facebook user account of the data subject and stores the personal data.

Facebook always receives, through the Facebook component, information about a visit to our website by the data subject, whenever the data subject is logged in at the same time on Facebook during the time of the call-up to our website. This occurs regardless of whether the data subject clicks on the Facebook component or not. If such a transmission of information to Facebook is not desirable for the data subject, then he or she may prevent this by logging off from their Facebook account before a call-up to our website is made.

The data protection guideline published by Facebook, which is available at https://facebook.com/about/privacy/, provides information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by Facebook. In addition, it is explained there what setting options Facebook offers to protect the privacy of the data subject. In addition, different configuration options are made available to allow the elimination of data transmission to Facebook. These applications may be used by the data subject to eliminate a data transmission to Facebook.

google maps (api)

Using an API, this website uses the mapping service of Google Maps. The provider here is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

In order to use the functions of Google Maps, your IP-address has to be stored. As a rule, this information is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this website has no influence on the data transmission. We use Google Maps in order to provide an attractive presentation of our online services and to make it easy to find the locations mentioned on our website. This represents a legitimate interest in the sense of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f  GDPR.

You can obtain more information about the handling of user data in the data protection declaration of Google: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Objection to advertising-mails

We object to the use of the contact data published in the Imprint for phishing purposes that lead to us being sent advertising and information material we have not expressly requested. The operators of this website reserve the right to take specific legal steps in the event of receiving unsolicited advertising information, say through spam mails.
